Caption: I'm an Allopathic IMG and I'm submitting these pictures on behalf of a physician whom I believe embodies the DO spirit. I first reached out to Dr. Stanley "Lee" Wisnioski in February of this year when I was tasked with working on Allopathic requirements for candidacy into Osteopathic tracks. Out of the dozens of physicians, I reach out to explaining my circumstances, he was the only one who took the time to interview me and offer me an observership in his practice. During this time, he patiently taught me how to improve my palpatory skills and gave me a glimpse into the history of Osteopathic Medicine. He guided my studies as I navigated uncharted waters and has been very supportive. He regularly precepts Osteopathic students so I'm sure, this change of pace could not have been easy.

During these past four weeks, he has given lectures at the local library championing Osteopathic medicine and recently received a Volunteer Physician of the Year Award by the Florida Health Department Palm Beach County for volunteering weekly at the local free clinic for the past 15 years.

The impending merger has opened new avenues of communication and I'm truly honored to have met such an inspiring DO physician who supports my dream of expanding my scope of practice as a budding MD.
