Yesterday I attended the Life Surge event.
I had saved up and made the decision last year to take that leap of faith and go—this was a birthday gift to myself.
It was powerful, inspiring, and honestly… humbling.
I won’t lie—today I feel tired. Not just physically, but in a reflective way. For a long time, I depended on people to help make my dreams come true. I sought advice and mentorship from those who said they lived for God and wanted to see me do well.
But here’s what God has been showing me:
Last year was a year of clarity—clarity of vision for my life, my calling, and my businesses. That clarity came from seeking God.
This year, this season, is about gaining knowledge and doing more myself, led by Him.
God is not only my Heavenly Father and Protector—
He is the CEO of my businesses.
I’m holding Jeremiah 29:11 closer to my heart than ever.
✨ Lessons that stayed with me from yesterday:
• Christina Caine – Remember Lot’s wife.
Don’t look back. Focus on the future God has already prepared for you.
• Ed Mylett
“You are the most qualified person to be who you used to be.”
That one hit deep. My pain is the gift God will use. Try one more time.
• Anne Beiler –
Focus on what you have, not what you don’t.
What you have—God can use to get you what you don’t.
• Tim Tebow –
You can love Jesus and still live a life smaller than what He intended.
Take the leap of faith—but do it humbly.
I also had the joy of meeting Willie Robertson and his wife from Duck Dynasty—such a genuine, joyful, and hilarious couple.
And I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Tim Tebow. I admire the work he and his wife do for families with special needs, their efforts to fight human trafficking, and the humility they walk in.
I knew it was a long shot—but I was there for a reason.
So I took another leap of faith.
I shared my story, talked about my books, and gave him copies of Dear God, Who Am I? and Nathan’s Farm Adventures.
My prayer remains simple:
Lord, use me to spread Your Word.
Use me to be a blessing to others.
I surrender and allow You to lead. 🤍🙏
