🌟 Project LIFT is proud to welcome Jill Marasa to our Board of Directors!

Jill brings an incredible depth of experience in development and economic growth across the Treasure Coast. She currently serves as Director of Development for Ashley Capital, one of the nation’s largest privately held industrial real estate investment companies, where she oversees over 2,000 acres of land in Martin and St. Lucie Counties — including Sunrise Grove Commerce Center, Martin Commerce Park, and Pruitt Commerce Center.

Her career journey spans financial services in New York and New Jersey to key economic development roles with the Business Development Board of Martin County and the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County, where she led business retention, expansion, and recruitment efforts.

We are so excited to have Jill on our team and look forward to working together to expand our reach and continue transforming the lives of teens and young adults across the Treasure Coast!

Project LIFT Belle Glade’s Strong Families Program just celebrated its 15th graduation ceremony this past week!

Through this program, family members of our participants gain access to free workshops on goal setting, credit management, résumé building, interviewing skills, and navigating health services. Each session is designed to strengthen both mental well-being and economic self-sufficiency — helping entire families thrive.

Our Project LIFT Belle Glade welding students designed and built a stunning metal sculpture for the Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce! 🛠️

This piece celebrates the heart of Belle Glade — honoring agriculture, football, sugar cane, crop dusters, and everything that makes this community special.

We’re proud to see our students not only learning valuable skills but also leaving a lasting impact right here in their hometown!

⚡ New Electrical Apprenticeship Classes are officially underway in Fort Pierce!

We are proud to partner with ABC Institute to provide this apprenticeship program to aspiring electricians in our community. Through hands-on job site experience and classroom learning, this commitment will put these young men and women in a great position to earn their Journeyman’s license and build a bright future in the electrical industry.

Our Story

Project L.I.F.T. (Life Initiatives for Teens) is an organization with a primary investment in the lives of youth,”by introducing skills that will inspire youth to explore opportunities to be successful outside of delinquent behavior. Project LIFT challenges youth both physically and mentally while they interact with positive mentors. Members learn how to manage their anger, attitude and emotions, including depression, anxiety, impulse issues and substance abuse. Many of our youth are also in need of continuity, security, and academic assistance, which we also provide. Success Rate for Project Lift in Florida

72% of members involved in the criminal justice system do not re-offend
