Your kidneys play a quiet but vital role in keeping your body in balance. On World Kidney Day, it’s a meaningful reminder to pause and pay attention to the signals your body may be sending.

If you’re noticing ongoing fatigue, swelling, frequent urination at night or persistent back pain, it may be your body’s way of asking for care.

Listening early can make a real difference.

Friday nights look a little safer with Dr. Joseph Chen on the sidelines. 🏈💙

For the past two years, Dr. Chen has served as team physician for Matanzas High School and Flagler Palm Coast High School, helping care for student athletes both on and off the field.

From sideline coverage to quick access to care and concussion management, he works closely with AdventHealth athletic trainers Ron Steinwehr and Michael Doersch to support athletes through diagnosis, recovery and a safe return to play. This past year alone, he helped manage 21 concussions.

We recently surprised him with jerseys and helmets from both schools to say thank you for the difference he’s making for these teams and our community’s young athletes. ✨

Losing an hour of sleep can feel big for little ones (and for parents, too).

As we spring forward, small changes can make a meaningful difference in your child’s body, mind and mood. A gradual bedtime shift, morning sunlight and a steady nighttime routine can help everyone adjust with a little more ease.

And if the first few days feel emotional or extra tired, that’s normal. Give your family grace.

In Flagler County, healing doesn’t just happen in a clinic. Sometimes it happens under Friday night lights. 🏈

This National Athletic Training Month, we’re celebrating Ron Steinwehr and Michael Doersch, our dedicated athletic trainers who care for student-athletes across our community. They’re there in the moments that matter — preventing injuries, guiding recovery and helping young athletes safely return to the game.

At AdventHealth, caring for the whole person is at the heart of what we do, and we’re grateful for the way Ron and Michael care for body, mind and spirit, helping athletes and families feel supported every step of the way. 💙

Join us in celebrating the difference they make for our athletes and community. ✨

💙 We’re wearing blue for ! 💙

Today, we join others across the country to raise awareness during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Dress in Blue Day is a reminder of the importance of screening, early detection, and prevention — because colorectal cancer is highly treatable when found early.

By wearing blue, we’re helping spark conversations, support patients and survivors, and encourage loved ones to stay up to date on their screenings.

Wear blue. Share why it matters. Help spread awareness. 💙

What happens when a community comes together for care? Something powerful. ✨

Through this year’s Gala Golf Classic and Moonlit Gala, the AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation raised more than $150,000 to support surgical services and nursing initiatives at AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.

From expanding minimally invasive robotic surgery to investing in the nurses who care for patients every day, this generosity is strengthening care across our community.

Behind every milestone like this is a community that shows up for patients and caregivers alike. 💙
