Depression.... a lot of how we feel is created by our gut biome. We get a lot of serotonin from the bacteria in our stomach, serotonin happens to be a hormone that makes us happier. A poor diet will cause an imbalance to this production and cause depression and anxiety. I found a site talking about supplementing vinegar (I would say a good apple cider vinegar) can help with depression.
"Gut bacteria also produce hundreds of neurochemicals that the brain uses to regulate basic physiological processes as well as mental processes such as learning, memory and mood. For example, gut bacteria manufacture about 95 percent of the body's supply of serotonin, which influences both mood and GI activity. "
Could it be a mood booster?
