2 moves to try when you SI joint is nagging you. πŸ˜’

1. Quadruped Hip Hike
- Start on your hands and knees with one knee on a yoga block and the other hanging off.
- Drive your free knee to the ground using your hips.
- Bring the knee back to the top by hiking the hip.
Key: keep your spine still, the movement is from your hips, it’s a small motion.

2. Side Lying Hip Shift
- Lay on your side, with your feet on a wall and knees at 90 degrees. Place a foam roller between your knees.
- Only moving the top leg, shift your knee forward then back. The movement is coming from your SI joint.
Key- the movement is small, think about moving along a horizontal line, don’t rotate your torso.

These 2 drills teach your body how to control your pelvis, fire your lateral hips, and move without compensation.
Consult with your PT/chiropractor if you have questions.
