Soon after Golee moved into Brookdale Browns Creek, she looked across the dining table and saw a familiar face. Peggy had worked with her at a local school for more than 20 years, and they were reunited once again! Life had brought them full circle, and we can't wait to see them take on this new chapter together. 💙

We have a monthly play date with two of our therapy dog! They play so well together and the residents have so much fun with them!

Yesterday we celebrated with our happy hour and entertainment with our jazz pianist, Bob. We also had snacks and happy hour to go along with it. We even had a new volunteer with us! It was a great time!

Today we spent our lunch outing at the new Landing Strip Tavern in Bunnell to have an opportunity to watch the planes fly in as we were eating lunch. The weather wasn’t the best, so we didn’t get to see too many planes, but the food was absolutely delicious. We had a lot of fun sharing a new restaurant together.

We had a wonderful celebration for a few of our residents because they served in WWII in the military, including John, William, Roger and Webb. They were honored with a handmade blanket from Cathy and a wooden plaque from Jeff from the VFW. Also, the Chaplain of VFW, Tom, Chaplain Mark, and Chaplain Carol honored them with these items with prayers, together with our residents. It was very rewarding to all of us.
