We originally planned to go LIVE to break down the article we posted the other day, but since our page is still new (under 60 days + under 100 followers), we don’t have live access just yet.

So, we recorded it for you instead.

In this video, Dr. Angelo explains:

• How healthy discs naturally move fluid in and out
• What happens when a disc is injured
• Why damaged discs lose that fluid exchange
• And how our non-surgical spinal decompression helps restore it

Understanding what’s happening inside the disc is the first step toward making smart decisions about your spine.

We’re sharing an article today that explains one of the key science-based reasons why IDD Therapy can help people with chronic neck and back pain: fluid exchange inside the disc.

Healthy discs depend on movement and pressure changes to pull in nutrients and release waste. When a disc is injured or degenerating, that exchange slows down. IDD Therapy is designed to gently create the conditions that allow the disc to rehydrate and function more normally — without drugs or surgery.

The article goes into the biomechanics behind this process. If you enjoy the science side of spine care, it’s a fascinating read.

And if you’d rather hear it explained in plain language, Dr. Ippolito from Palm Coast Disc Center will be going live soon to walk through what fluid exchange means, why it matters, and how it relates to real patient outcomes.

Education is a big part of what we do — because understanding your spine helps you make confident decisions about your care.
