In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we savored the flavors of Guatemala. Known as the birthplace of chocolate, Guatemalan cuisine blends Mayan tradition with Spanish influences to create vibrant and tasty dishes for this month's Taste of Atria.
On the menu: tostones with guacamole, Pollo A La Lena, Beef enchiladas, refried black beans, cucumber salad, and tres leches cake.
Our Chef Alfonso was born in Guatemala, and he was very excited to prepare the recipes and add his own special flair to the meal. We are all proud of our Culinary Team and how they create delicious meals for our monthly Taste of Atria events.
