Who is to blame? Difficult fighting the sinful nature. When we accept this nature and hold it captive under the word of God, we can hold ourselves accountable. We can admit our wrongs and, with humility, receive grace, restoration, and peace that passes all understanding.

A young bird follows its parent to the ground as the parent searches for food. The young one sits, flapping its wings crying to be fed. The parent works to gather and eat, feeds the young one, and then shows it again how to find its meal. The parent eventually stops feeding its young, not to punish or neglect. This young one has all the means to survive on its own it just has to take the responsibility to do it. An overindulged child will not learn independence. Know how to teach.
