A: Starting Monday, January 4 at noon.

A: The information will be posted to http://pinellas.floridahealth.gov on Monday at noon.
Q: Do I have to pay to get the vaccine?
A: No. It will be given at no cost.
Q: Which type of vaccine is being given in Pinellas?
A: is providing the Pfizer vaccine.
Q: I hear this is a two-dose vaccine. When do I have to come back for the second dose?
A: 21 days after receiving the first dose.
Q: What if I can’t make my appointment for the second dose?
A: If you will not be available, we cannot guarantee you will receive the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine
Q: Who is eligible to get the shot?
A: Per the Governor’s executive order, staff and residents of long-term care facilities, persons 65 years and older and health care personnel with direct patient contact.
Q: Can I get a shot if I don’t have a reservation?
A: No. Those showing to vaccine locations without reservations without reservations will be turned away.
Q: I have a health condition (asthma, diabetes, etc.), but I am younger than 65. Can I get a shot now?
A: No, not now. As additional doses of the vaccine arrive in the county, updates will be provided.

A: We wish to get the vaccine out as quickly and as safely as possible with a simple appointment system that anyone over 65 can use.

A: Plans are in place, but the supply has limited the response.

A: As more vaccine supply becomes available, additional targeted plans will be implemented. We ask that you be patient and continue to follow CDC guidelines. Feel free to assist your family member to register.
