Before I can hold space for others, I must first create space within myself.
My preparation for leading retreat experiences begins long before anyone arrives. I carve out time for deep reflection—sitting with the questions I’ll invite others to explore, feeling into the silence I’ll be asking them to embrace.
Solitude has become my teacher. In the quiet mornings and unhurried evenings, I practice what I’ll eventually guide: the art of simply being, without agenda or distraction. I walk slowly, breathe intentionally, and let my own layers settle.
Meditation grounds me in presence. It’s where I shed my own noise so I can truly listen—to intuition, to the needs of those I’ll serve, to the subtle movements of transformation that happen when we pause long enough to notice.
This isn’t just preparation. It’s a commitment to show up whole, clear, and ready to witness others on their journey.
Because you can’t pour from an empty cup. And you can’t guide someone home to themselves if you haven’t found your way there first.

Do you play pickleball? Try adding Some Yoga 🧘‍♀️🏓
I’m pretty new to pickleball, and I’ve already noticed how much yoga helps me on the court!
Even simple stretches make a difference. My hips and shoulders feel looser, which helps when I’m reaching for shots or serving. And those balance poses? They’re already helping me stay steadier when I’m moving around or hitting the ball 🏓

The best part is yoga helps me stay relaxed out there. Instead of getting frustrated when I miss a shot (which happens a lot as a beginner!), I can take a breath and reset. It makes learning way more fun.
It’s helping me feel less sore after playing and more confident on the court.
If you’re new to pickleball too, it might be worth trying!
☀️ Florida friends, I am teaching at this Saturday and stay tuned for a Friday class at

As we approach the end of another year, I find myself reflecting on change—something yoga has taught me to meet with both courage and grace.

This year has brought significant transitions for Warrior One. As many of you know, I’ve relocated, and Warrior One has evolved in new directions. Change can feel uncomfortable, even when it’s right. But isn’t that what we practice on our mats? Meeting the unfamiliar with steady breath, trusting that transformation often comes disguised as uncertainty.

I want to thank you—not just for this year, but for every class, every conversation, and every moment we’ve shared over the years. Warrior One has been more than a business to me; it’s been a labor of love, and you’ve been at the heart of it all.

As you reflect on your own year, I hope you’ll honor whatever changes you’ve experienced. What did you release? What new possibilities emerged? Where did you find resilience you didn’t know you had?

A Gift of Renewal
If you’re looking for a meaningful gift this season, our yoga retreat experiences offer something precious: time to step away, go deeper, and return renewed. Whether for yourself or someone you love, a retreat is an opportunity to reconnect with what matters most. Reach out to learn more about upcoming retreat dates and locations.

Whatever this next year brings, may you meet it with an open heart and steady breath. Thank you for being part of this journey.

With deep gratitude,
Natasha

Feeling like you're stuck in a holiday stress loop? Time to hit the reset button! A conscious interruption can be just what you need to break the cycle. Try these simple tricks:
🧘‍♂️strike a pose! Like I’m doing here with dancer pose

💕 in touch with your heartbeat, remembering the reason for the season

💦 splash some cold water on your face,

🎄gaze out the window at something natural or steady your focus on your Christmas Tree

🔑 The key is to catch yourself before you're totally frazzled, and take a 30-second pause to calm your nerves. Your holiday sanity will thank you. 👣, 👀, ❤️, 💦, 🧘‍♂️, 🎄
And then of course you could join me in yoga this Thursday at 10 am or 6 pm. (DM me for the link)

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity… It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. — Melody Beattie

This is my favorite poem this time of year. I meditate and reflect on cultivating an attitude of gratitude every year. It’s enlightening to learn what comes up. This year has been filled with so many blessings. It has also been filled with big challenges and changes. Cultivating gratitude isn’t always easy, especially when it comes to life’s trials.

I share this with you because…

It’s become a beautiful practice to return to each year. There’s something powerful about that annual ritual of pausing to really examine what gratitude means in this particular moment of life.
Gratitude becomes most meaningful, and perhaps most difficult, when we’re navigating challenges and changes. It’s one thing to feel grateful when life is smooth, but quite another to cultivate it when we’re in the midst of hardship. That tension between blessings and trials is where gratitude becomes less of a simple feeling and more of a deliberate practice, a choice even.

Sometimes the insights that emerge from sitting with gratitude during hard times are the most transformative ones—they can reveal our resilience, shift our perspective on what really matters, or help us find unexpected meaning in struggle.

I have missed our Warrior One Family so much this year. I reflect back with an immense amount of gratitude 🙏 for YOU 🙏

Sending Love, Light and Gratitude💕💕💕

The holidays are often seen as the most joyous time of the year — and yet, as they approach, a whole new wave of stress can descend. Increased social and family interactions can sometimes trigger deep wounds, old pain, or anxiety. Financial pressures, feelings of loss, sadness, or loneliness — combined with a longer to-do list — can make the treadmill of life speed up, leading to sleeplessness and a compromised immune system.

✨ The more self-care we can spark from within, the more we have to give. 💝
So much can surface during this season. Our subconscious may be stirred by holidays past, bringing up thoughts, feelings, and emotions that offer us another chance to process and grow — even if it means sitting with discomfort.

Yoga can offer us a sacred space to listen and learn from yourself — to give yourself permission to explore what you truly need to manage holiday stress: boundaries (including saying no), space for emotions, and time for reflection.

These yoga events can be a true gift of self-care — an opportunity to prepare yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally for the holiday season. By doing so, we open a portal for joy, happiness, and peace to flow more freely through us and into the world.
