Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity… It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. — Melody Beattie
This is my favorite poem this time of year. I meditate and reflect on cultivating an attitude of gratitude every year. It’s enlightening to learn what comes up. This year has been filled with so many blessings. It has also been filled with big challenges and changes. Cultivating gratitude isn’t always easy, especially when it comes to life’s trials.
I share this with you because…
It’s become a beautiful practice to return to each year. There’s something powerful about that annual ritual of pausing to really examine what gratitude means in this particular moment of life.
Gratitude becomes most meaningful, and perhaps most difficult, when we’re navigating challenges and changes. It’s one thing to feel grateful when life is smooth, but quite another to cultivate it when we’re in the midst of hardship. That tension between blessings and trials is where gratitude becomes less of a simple feeling and more of a deliberate practice, a choice even.
Sometimes the insights that emerge from sitting with gratitude during hard times are the most transformative ones—they can reveal our resilience, shift our perspective on what really matters, or help us find unexpected meaning in struggle.
I have missed our Warrior One Family so much this year. I reflect back with an immense amount of gratitude 🙏 for YOU 🙏
Sending Love, Light and Gratitude💕💕💕
