On this anniversary of September 11, 2001, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives, the courage of first responders, and the strength of the families they left behind.
The weight of these memories, along with tragic events this past week, might tempt us to despair. Yet we are called to put on the full armor of God and respond not with fear, but with love, hope, and compassion.
May we choose to be a light in a world often marked by darkness, bringing healing and strength that comes only through the grace, mercy, and love of Jesus.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." – John 14:27
