Debbie Young is the Founder and Owner of Soul Shed Wellness. Her mission is to create a sacred space in her community for those who are seeking to heal, transform, and a positive atmosphere to connect with like-minded people. Debbie completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited yoga teacher training with Laurie Ahlemann of Long Island Yoga School in 2013 and is trained in YogaRocks Kids! She has

a strong passion for Essential Oils, which led her to become a Certified Raindrop Technique Practitioner. She is one of only 3 people certified in this technique on Long Island. Through her extensive healing work, in her own practice and alongside a variety of holistic doctors and practitioners, she has become known as the “healer for healers”. She is a licensed Spiritual Healer and Certified Aromatherapy Coach. In addition to her healing sessions, Debbie performs sacred ceremonies for mothers-to-be and many of life’s transitions.

Our Story

Debbie Young is a Spiritual and Transformational Coach, Licensed Spiritual Healer, Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Aromatherapy Coach.

After 23 years of teaching middle school Spanish, she had a nervous breakthrough and left EVERYTHING behind: her teaching career and 6 figure salary & benefits, her beautiful, brand new home, and her husband of 20 years.

She realized that shielding herself from continued pain and loss with a concrete block around her heart did nothing except have her living a materially full, emotionally void, and comfortably numb life. She took bold, courageous steps to break out of her self-imposed prison of numbness, of simply existing.

With the powerful support of her own mentor, she packed up her life experience, her compassion, and her deep faith, and moved on. She opened and closed a yoga studio, and finally stepped into the deep, transformational service of private coaching in which both she and her clients are thriving, are healing deeply - themselves and all those around them.
