It is so true. Holidays can be extremely stressful whether you are traveling, going to someone’s home for festivities, or just enjoying it at home. It seems like everyone is in a rush, on the road, in the stores, etc. We need to sometimes just take a good deep breath and remember what this Holiday means. It is a Holiday of LOVE , of giving and sharing, and creating memories. ❤️

My patients are the very reason I am fulfilled, and I am grateful every day to be able to make a difference. I am also immensely grateful for having the most compassionate and caring team in my office. They are my pillars of strength and I couldn’t do this work without them. Eat heart healthier foods rich in omega3 and avoid refined sugars
Avoid and control stress- exercise and meditate
Reach out to those we love and remember to enjoy our friends and family-hug and smile😊
Recover from your day wisely. Put down the cell phone, the IPAD, etc. and turn off the TV. Prepare to sleep well. Our bodies need deep sleep for proper recovery.

I have met so many people in my career and it is so incredibly true. Those that are beautiful inside which is demostrated through their acts of kindness and love just seem to glow from within. They are truly beautiful souls and I always feel privileged to just listen to the stories of what drives them to stay grounded in this world and allows them to look past the negativity that surround us. Please think of what makes you beautiful inside and let that project to your outer being! You will be amazed at how wonderful your life can be.🥰

My heart goes out to the families in Jamaica and their loved ones here in the U.S. I can’t imagine the incredible fear that they may be feeling. Please pray for our Lord to give them protection, strength, and hope. 🙏🏼

I am so deeply heartbroken today. A young man who loved God has been taken from this world in the most brutal and hateful way. May God provide comfort to all those impacted. We are all God loving Americans and I still believe that there is good in this world. Prayers for Healing!🙏🏼🙏🏼

Honey Lime Chicken & Avocado Rice Stack

Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
- 1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Juice and zest of 2 limes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Rice:
- 1 cup jasmine or basmati rice
- 2 cups water or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- Salt, to taste

For the Avocado Layer:
- 2 ripe avocados, diced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:
- Extra chopped cilantro
- Diced tomatoes
- Crumbled cotija or feta cheese
- Lime wedges
