Now that we’re almost into February and have had some time to reflect on our goals, it’s the perfect time to shift from dreaming about them to actually making a plan to take action.

I used to write out all my goals for the year, and then the overwhelm spiral would hit me like a ton of bricks…

✨ 5 Self-Care Checklist to Stay Grounded through the Holiday Season ✨

The holidays can be a beautiful time, but they can also feel overwhelming.

Between social obligations, gift shopping, and the hustle and bustle, it’s easy to forget about caring for yourself.

That’s why we’ve created this Self-Care Checklist to help you stay calm, grounded, and present as you navigate the rest of the season.

1. Create a Self-Care Routine.
Prioritize time just for YOU each day. Whether it’s 10 minutes of quiet meditation, an evening bath, or a morning walk, consistency is key to staying balanced during the chaos.

2. Say “No” When Needed.
You don’t have to say yes to every invitation or obligation. Protect your energy by setting boundaries that honor your mental and emotional health.

3. Indulge in Small Joys.
Sip your favorite tea, watch a cozy movie, or enjoy the crisp winter air on a short stroll. These little moments of joy can lift your mood and keep you grounded.

4. Journal Your Feelings.
The holidays can bring up a lot—both joy and stress. Take a few minutes to write down your thoughts, feelings, and gratitudes. Journaling can help you process emotions and release what no longer serves you.

5. Move Your Body.
Whether it’s yoga, a dance break, or a brisk walk, movement helps release stress and boost endorphins. Physical activity, even in small amounts, keeps your body and mind in harmony.

Thanksgiving is often seen as a moment to pause with loved ones and reflect on life’s many blessings. But, as we all know, the holiday’s history is complex and far from perfect. For some, the traditional narrative no longer holds up.

What if, instead of focusing on the past, we chose to redefine Thanksgiving as an opportunity to reset, to shift our focus toward gratitude?

Gratitude doesn’t erase the hard truths or painful experiences, but it allows us to find light in the darkness. It’s not about ignoring reality—it’s about choosing to celebrate what is good, despite life’s challenges. Such a shift can bring joy, hope, and peace back into our lives.

3 Tips to Feel More Joyous & At Ease With Your Loved Ones This Holiday Season

The holidays are near, and for many of us, that means spending time with family— including that one family member who seems to know how to push our buttons.

Maybe you’ve noticed you’re snapping at the kids, feeling irritated with your spouse, or losing patience with people who think and act differently than you. It’s frustrating, and deep down, you don’t want to react that way.

I’ve been there too— Eventually, I decided enough was enough. I started putting ME first, and everything changed.

Here are 3 things you can start doing right now to make your life, your relationships, and this holiday season a whole lot easier:

1️⃣ Practice Selfish-Care.
It’s okay to put yourself first. Taking intentional time for YOU allows you to show up for others more peacefully. Start your mornings with quiet rituals, Treat yourself while holiday shopping, book a massage before a big gathering, or spend time in nature to recharge.

2️⃣ Regulate Your Nervous System.
When we live in a constant state of stress, we’re more reactive, burnt out, and prone to illness. Instead, focus on grounding yourself throughout the day. Walk outside, practice earthing, and take three deep, intentional breaths.

3️⃣ Focus Your Mindset.
Your perception of situations directly impacts how you feel. Shift your perspective to see the positive, look for the lessons, and remember that everyone is doing their best with the resources they have. Tools like NLP can help you maintain a growth mindset.

When you practice these three tips consistently, you’ll notice more joy, deeper connections, and an overall sense of peace—even during the busiest times.
