Gracias! We are full of gratitude to all who have helped to make this Thanksgiving Day special for our families, children, and staff! First to Joel Flores Palm Beach County Commissioner District 3 and the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the Professional Firefighters/ Paramedics of Palm Beach County, Local 2928 IAFF who delivered 25 fresh turkeys to our Families! To Comcast who with delicious Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches Pies for our families! And to our staff, who not only celebrated creatively with our children, but also brought their best dishes to share at our Staff Appreciation Thanksgiving Potluck!

We are the luckiest nonprofit organization who have the honor of serving almost 1,000 people a year and developing a workforce of over 50 employees! We could not do any of this without the steadfast support of YOU… our partners in the community! WE APPRECIATE YOU! Thank you for all you do! May you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃🍗🥧🍎

Congratulations to our teaching staff that earned a badge or micro-credential this past semester by completing early childhood related HEO courses through the Institute of Excellence in Early Care and Education at Palm Beach State College. We are extremely proud of Tania Olano, Neida Cristina Arroyo, Claribel Cervantes and Luisa Castillo. Thank you for continuing to grow personally and professionally to provide high quality services.

Today, our team came together for a Day of Service at the Palm Beach County Food Bank. Staff spent the day sorting and packing food that will be distributed to families in need. Additionally, staff also painted doors at Luciano Martinez Child Development Center and New Pines Child Development Center to help brighten the space for children and staff.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, your generosity and energy made the day a huge success. We are proud to be a part of an agency that values service, teamwork, and compassion.

Another great event hosted at Hispanic Human Resources Center ! The children loved particpating in the annual FALLOWEEN PARADE showing off costumes and trick-or-treating from classroom to classroom!

THANK YOU to our local community partner, E-Care Ambulance, for bringing the ambulance truck by for a special tour and trick or treat experience for our 3- and 4-year-olds! Parents even joined in on the spooky fun in meeting special guests, Mr. & Mrs. Skeletons!

We love supporting our community and providing special educational experiences to our children and families! Together we make our community stronger and healthier!

Thank you to State Representative Debra Tendrich for hosting Hispanic Human Resources Center at . It was a wonderful opportunity for our 3- and 4-year old preschoolers to bring awareness to our Head Start programs during Head Start Awareness Month!

Showcased were two 3-year old pictures of their classrooms and our 4-year old Head Start artwork and multiple spooky pumpkins to celebrate Falloween!

As we wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month, Hispanic Human Resources Center celebrated all the cultures represented at each of our Child Development Centers, New Pines and Luciano Martinez. There was an overabundance of smiles, joy and fun! Children aged 1- to 4-years learned about various Carribean and South American cultures through educational activities, food, and music. We are thankful to our parents, Board members and various community partners who made the effort to join us in our celebrations and tour our classrooms. Training Days provide an opportunity for staff to learn new skills, refresh their knowledge to stay up to date with current practices, and share resources that can help improve staff performance and child outcomes. We had an amazing visit this week from Captain Bob Bailas and Laura Conway of Lutheran Services Florida, our Head Start and Early Head Start funding agency.
