Good day, everyone! I wanted to share that we currently have funding available to help women in the West Palm Beach area cover the costs of home birth. Our nonprofit, Birth Equity Resource, was recently awarded funds from the Children’s Services Council to provide this support.

At this time, funding is limited to residents of Palm Beach County, but we are actively working to secure additional resources so we can expand assistance nationwide. We will share updates as soon as more funding becomes available.

If you know someone in Palm Beach County who could benefit from financial support for a home birth, please encourage them to reach out and apply through our website birthequityresource.org/apply-for-help

We still have funds available and would love to distribute them to families in need. Thank you, and please spread the word!

Lots of updates for 2026 we are excited to share!

Lauren is headed back to New York and Jojo is opening her own practice.

As we move into this next phase of Midwife360, I will be taking a humanitarian trip in October and November (more details to come) and offering new services.

One of the highly requested services I will begin to offer is virtual prenatal and birth support at a discounted rate. Have questions? Shoot over a DM. 🌸

Newborn Resuscitation January 19 & 20th
Birth Assistant Course January 24th

This course provides foundational education and hands-on training for individuals seeking to assist at community births under the supervision of a licensed midwife. It is designed for aspiring birth assistants, doulas, students, and clinicians transitioning into home birth who want a clear understanding of the assistant role, community birth philosophy, safety standards, and professional boundaries.

The course emphasizes physiologic birth, team-based care, assistant scope of practice, and calm, competent support during both normal birth and deviations from normal.

Completion of the course does not qualify participants to practice independently. Ongoing skills assessment and supervised birth attendance are required for certification.

Considering hosting an NRP course January or February with KAREN STRANGE. This is an amazing NRP course specifically for community birth providers. We need a total of 20 participants to schedule her - PLEASE COMMENT if you would be interested. 🎉 High School Students! Need Community Service Hours? 🎉

We're looking for responsible, caring high school students who need volunteer hours and enjoy spending time with kids!

Our Midwifery & Community Wellness Center runs parent classes and support groups, and we offer a Kids Corner where children can play while their parents attend. We're looking for teen volunteers to help supervise and engage with the kids during these sessions.

🧸 What You’ll Do:

Hang out and play with little ones

Read books, do crafts, and help keep kids safe & happy

NO diaper changing or feeding required

Commitment Required:
We’re asking volunteers to commit to specific days/times each week. This helps us provide consistent support for families and a stable environment for the kids. (We’ll discuss options with you based on our schedule and yours.)
