🎉 High School Students! Need Community Service Hours? 🎉

We're looking for responsible, caring high school students who need volunteer hours and enjoy spending time with kids!

Our Midwifery & Community Wellness Center runs parent classes and support groups, and we offer a Kids Corner where children can play while their parents attend. We're looking for teen volunteers to help supervise and engage with the kids during these sessions.

🧸 What You’ll Do:

Hang out and play with little ones

Read books, do crafts, and help keep kids safe & happy

NO diaper changing or feeding required

Commitment Required:
We’re asking volunteers to commit to specific days/times each week. This helps us provide consistent support for families and a stable environment for the kids. (We’ll discuss options with you based on our schedule and yours.)

Pregnancy is a time of incredible change, and moving our bodies can be one of the best ways to stay connected, energized, and strong.

Fadwah has given birth six times at home and raised five more children over the years through her rich, blended family experiences.

She has lived in the mountains of Colorado and also enjoys the sunny lifestyle of South Florida. She is a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Midwifery (CNM). She has a BS with an emphasis in Nutrition from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. In the 1980’s and 90’s, she studied childbirth education and then received homebirth training in Colorado.

Along the way, she worked in several Emergency Rooms and Labor and Delivery units. Once she completed midwifery school, she worked for a very busy, local OB/GYN group of 5 midwives and 4 MDs. She assisted over 1600 women to give birth at two hospitals in Palm Beach County and frequently saw over 500 women in the office every month.

It is her intimacy with the medical model of care that makes her such a great choice for birth at home. She is confident that when supported physiologically, pregnant women will give birth gracefully, with freedom into the loving embrace of their families.
