“Dr Abdallah was such a great Dr. I knew from an early age that I would have trouble trying to get pregnant. He never judged me of my age. He helped me in every way he can. He took the time to figure out what was wrong and why we couldn’t get pregnant. He knew from the very start what would be the best treatment for me and my husband, he was so kind and compassionate about everything.” 💙

If you’re preparing for an embryo transfer, understanding the difference between natural and medicated cycles can help you feel informed and confident in your next steps.

In a natural cycle, your body takes the lead. We rely on your own hormones to prepare the uterus, with one egg developing naturally and your o***y producing the hormones that guide the timing of transfer. This option may be well suited for patients with regular cycles who prefer minimal medication.

In a medicated, or programmed, cycle, we support your body with estrogen and other medications to prepare the uterine lining to the optimal thickness for transfer, without relying on natural ovulation.

A medicated cycle may be chosen because it offers more control and scheduling flexibility, is ideal for women with irregular cycles, and may improve timing and consistency for some patients.

So which option is right for you? Every body is different, and every journey is unique. At ARC, we help you understand your options and personalize your treatment plan based on your health, your needs, and your goals.

Genetic testing plays an important role in helping patients make informed decisions throughout their fertility journey. By identifying chromosomal abnormalities or inherited conditions before implantation, it can improve pregnancy success rates and reduce the risk of miscarriage.

In our lab, experienced embryologists and genetic counselors carefully biopsy a small number of cells from each embryo on day 5 or 6 of development. We test for both chromosome count through PGT-A and specific gene mutations through PGT-M, using precise methods designed to protect each embryo’s integrity.

Once testing is complete, our care doesn’t stop at results. Our specialists and patient coordinators take the time to explain what the findings mean, review success rates, and discuss the best transfer strategy for you.

At ARC, every treatment plan is personalized. We combine advanced science with thoughtful, one-on-one care so you feel informed, confident, and supported at every step!

Trying to get pregnant but things aren’t going as planned?
Hormone imbalance could be a key piece of the puzzle. While estrogen and testosterone play a role, progesterone is one of the most important hormones needed to support pregnancy—and many people aren’t producing enough of it due to inconsistent ovulation.

Swipe through to learn why hormone testing matters and how a simple evaluation could bring you closer to growing your family.
