Life as we knew it is totally disrupted. Emotions are running high, anxiety, depression, fear, anger.
Remember to treat yourself well physically and emotionally. Get exercise/walk to release energy from your musckes, and increase oxygen in your blood. Eat well, take a bath, listen music,. meditate. Call a friend.it all helps to ease the pain of isolation and change.
STAY SAFE. WEAR A MASK

This is a difficult time for most people, bringing up feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, loneliness, sadness, anxiety and more. There are no easy answers to these feelings. But they can be eased with some very simple actions.
* Reach out to someone else who may need help
* Go for a walk or a bike ride, alone or with a friend
* Keep busy, even with trivial things
* Listen to music that you relate to
* Stay away from the news, especially as it's represented on FB
* Do something special for yourself. IE: take a bubble bath
* Write a letter to someone you care about and express your feelings for them
* Actually call someone you haven't spoken to who lives far away

Be creative with the things you can do. Try making a list of 10 positive things that have come from this.....such as I don't have to get out of my pajamas if i don't want to.

But most of all, take care of yourself even if it means reaching out to a therapist for temporary help. We are all there for you to help in any way. There are many low fee clinics which will be suitable for this purpose as well as therapists in private pracdtice who might be able to help with the deepeer issues, such as loneliness that are being stirred up now.

PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. AND BE SAFE.

GRATITUDE OPENS A LOVING HEART

11/27/2019

Today marks the eve of the beginning of the holidays. Remember that gratitude is a guide to living and can keep the focus off of what we believe is missing. Be well. Enjoy. Breathe and stay calm, it's all over in a month.

Expecting someone to return a favor is inviting resentment into your life. Do something for the sake of doing it, not for a return

03/23/2019

Ask yourself. Is it better to live in pain than go through the pain of asking for help and hope?

03/10/2019

Looking to others to tell you who you are will lead to an inability to do it yourself.

12/03/2018

The holiday season can be difficult for many. Look around and see if someone needs help

09/21/2018

Don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't feel the way you do. Honor your feelings and have them, but dont let them rule your life. If they do please seek help.
