Our Story

"Saving lives with knives." Since 2007.

That was the year I finished training. Five years of general surgery residency at UCSF - East Bay program, followed by 1 year of endocrine surgery fellowship at Rush University in Chicago. My mentors included Dr. Claude Organ, Dr. Alden Harken, and Dr. Richard Prinz, all giants in their field. I practiced for five years in Woodland, CA, near Sacramento, before starting a solo private practice in the Antelope Valley, located in the northern most part of LA County.

It was 2013, and as luck would have it, I met Dr. Rafael Lemus-Rangel on the first day of opening my office. He was the only other solo private-practice general surgeon of my generation in the area. We naturally struck up a friendship and business partnership that lasts to this day. In 2014, we both adopted robotic assisted laparoscopic techniques for general surgery and quickly became the highest volume robotic surgeons in the entire region. We recognized that robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery is the safest and most effective way to do surgery now and in the foreseeable future. Today, in 2018, the opening of Elite Robotic Surgery is just the beginning of our long term goal: accelerating the advent of robotic assisted surgery as the new gold standard in surgery.
