📢 - Important Community Update
Final Decision on Buc-ee’s Annexation — Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 PM
This is a critical reminder: the Palmer Lake Board of Trustees (BoTs) will make their final decision on the Buc-ee’s annexation proposal this Thursday, October 2nd at 6:00 PM at Town Hall.
Although two new trustees have joined the board and the ballot initiative has passed, Buc-ee’s has not withdrawn. The fight is not over.
👉 This is the meeting to show up for. Your presence matters.
We need to show the BoTs — and Buc-ee’s — how strong and united our community opposition is.
What to Expect:
Buc-ee’s (the applicant) will present again, similar to the Planning Commission meeting
Be ready for a long evening
Have prepared statements and be ready with counterpoints to Buc-ee’s claims
Why It Matters:
This is the final hearing. The BoTs will vote.
Let’s make sure they hear loud and clear that our community does NOT support this annexation.
