Join us this Friday - Oct. 27th from 5-7pm at Primrose Retirement Community for their 5th Annual "Trick or Treat Town" ... 889 N. Elkhorn Drive in Wasilla, AK.

Janssen Mat-Su Funeral Home will have an amazing Halloween display and plenty of candy!

And several other vendors as well.

A safe and friendly environment out of the elements, because its held in their huge garage :)

The Alaska Veterans & Pioneers Home in Palmer, Alaska reached out to us for help with the care of their fish tanks.

The residents love to relax and watch the fish through out the day.

We of course were more than happy to help in a time of need :)

The Mat-Su Rotary Club reached out to us for help with their 2016 Zombie Run (Fundraiser) in April.

It was a really fun event and lots of supporters arrived in costume!

It was great hearing all of the postive comments on our participation and seeing all the photos that were taken with our hearse after its transformation!

Thank you for the invitation to get involved and support a great cause within our community :)

We sponsored the 2016 Mat-Su Sertoma Polar Plunge in February!

I am a member of the club and Janssen's Mat-Su Funeral Home couldn't wait to help support the event.

Scott Janssen "The Mushin Mortician" said:
"Sam, part of our sponsorship is YOU have to jump too, hahaha!!!"

What an amazing event for our friends and family, year-after-year coming together to raise money for non-profit organizations within our own community!

AND having a bit of wild fun at the same time :)

We donated our facility to AJ Siems and the Triumvirate Theatre group.

They needed an emergency venue to rehearse for the "Fiddler on the Roof" that was held at the Glenn Massay Theater in February.

We were more than happy to help our community in a time of need :)

I even met the Director "Rodger Sorensen" who is also a Theater & Media Arts Professor at BYU.

Thank you eveyone for the behind-the-scenes look into your world of "Theater & Entertainment!!!"

Just before last year's Iditarod Jennifer Schmidt (Principal) & Fronteras Spanish Immersion School in Wasilla invited Scott Janssen "Mushin Mortician" to speak to the kiddos!

The kids, staff, and parents loved it!!!

He is an AMAZING story teller :)

Thank you Sandra Page Carranza and your 4th-5th grade class for providing the residents at Primrose Retirement Home with entertainment in Honor of Veterans Day! They played recorders, recited the Pledge of Allegiance (Spanish & English) and sang our Natinoal Anthem. Lots of smile, tears, and applause for the kidos :)
