January Employee of the Month ✨ goes to Priscilla! We sure are grateful for all of your hard work and dedication. A little bit about Priscilla:

She was born in Culver City, CA but grew up in Lancaster, CA. She met and began dating her husband, Charles in High-school. She graduated in 2006 and always wanted to be a nurse.
She was married in 2015 and has two daughters. Georgia is 9 and Cheyenne is 6. She is currently going to Nightingale school for her BSN and will finish in April. Her favorite hobby when not busy with work, school and kids, is reading; she loves the Fourth Wing books. She enjoys anything pickled or spicy, & her favorite food is Thai & Mexican. She has two dogs Missy and Dodge.

Our Christmas Tree Festival was a fabulous success! We loved having the community visit and see all the beautiful trees. We wanted to announce the winners of the tree competition. We also wanted to give a special thanks for all the participants from the community who sponsored and decorated a tree. We appreciate you all!! Thank you to the Palmer Chamber for organizing another great Colony Christmas!!

Our December Employee of the Month… is Addison White! Addison was born in Alaska. She loves spending time with her dog Flash. She is musically gifted and is self taught on the piano, guitar, and ukulele. Addison is an incredibly hard worker and cares deeply for others. She is currently in nursing school while also being an incredible CNA here at Maple Springs. If you see her let her know how much she is appreciated!

We got the pictures back from the costumes at the Halloween party!! Our residents & staff went all out this year. It was so fun to see the creative costume ideas. It sure was a fun night!

Employee of the Month: Victoria Black 🤍 Victoria grew up in Washington State. She has 3 grown children, 5 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. She is a retired massage therapist and care-giver.

She Loves being outside and taking care of flowers in the summer. she also enjoys baking especially with the grandkids. She is enjoying this chapter of her life with her dogs Peaches and Sophie and sharing the love of her dogs with residents and staff at Maple Springs. She also loves a little Bailey’s in her weekend coffees.

🫶🏼 Victoria is an activities assistant for Maple Springs. You all rave about all of our activities, and it could be possible without her! Thank you for all your hard work Victoria 🌸

Our Halloween Carnival is one of our favorite events! It is always so well attended and something our residents and staff look forward too 👻 a big thank you to our activities committee!

We also played a fun pumpkin smash game. Great physical activity as well as a fun fall tradition. There definitely were some smashed pumpkins!! 🎃
