Nearly half a million Americans experience symptoms of winter-related seasonal affective disorder (SAD) each year. SAD is characterized by common symptoms of depression, like:
-Feelings of sadness all day, on more days than not
-Feelings of hopelessness
-Decreased energy levels
-Lack of interest in activities you once enjoyed
-Sleep problems
In the winter months, SAD sufferers may also experience exhaustion, carbohydrate cravings, a tendency to overeat and experience weight gain, and social withdrawal. Important update regarding the Thanksgiving Dinner at the Menard Center, Thursday November 26th.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Following careful consultation with the City of Wasilla, and in accordance with the city's guidance, there will no longer be a dine-in seating option. The Thanksgiving meals will be distributed via drive-thru ONLY from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Menard Center located at 1001 S Clapp St in Wasilla. This year, it is expected, that roughly 2,000 meals will be distributed at the Thanksgiving Dinner. Interested in supporting this year's Thanksgiving Dinner?
