We have 10 weeks until the , and I hadn't run in three weeks! I figured I had to start somewhere, so I chose the second easiest suggestion on garmin and got in a 27-minute minute base run. It took me a full mile to get into the zone that garmin wanted me in, but I did it, and I ran most of the rest in that zone! Today was in the neighborhood, but i'm hoping to get some trail time in this week because I opted to do the trail challenge being run by this month. The goal for that challenge is thirty miles on the trails, and i'm kind of looking forward to it. I'm going to call today a successful run even though I did have to cross the street to get away from that scary lookin'. Turkey vulture i'm a sidewalk 😏. Also hoping this run helps me at work today. I have a 7 hour closing shift 🙃.

Got up early again to ride before work. Did intervals today in an effort to get more of a cardio workout. I've found a long enough cardio workout in the morning helps with my mood and attention span. I managed to be productive today while under a significant amount of stress, as so I'm gonna say it worked 😏. Even stayed an extra hour to get a task closer to done. Really looking forward to sleep tonight 😏.

This is so cool! and I run races because we love the community, and we love the trails, so when this came in the mail today, it was like icing on the cake 😏. We got BADASS belt buckles for being among the 8 people who completed 5+ BURCS races this year! So cool. And yes, we will be back to do it again next year 😎.

Best thing about going for my annual appts is getting time out with this guy😊. Scans are done, and we are having lunch. Trying to decide if we'll hit Barnes & Noble or Target before we head home 🤔. Only one more round of scans/oncology visits next August, and I'm done 💪😎.

Friday's workout was push, single whip combo from . I'm starting to feel like I might be getting the hang of this 😏. Can hardly wait to see what I'll learn next 🤔. Maybe I won't feel so lost in class with on Tuesday? I'll keep you posted 😎.

Wow. Today, I learned single whip, which is a very deceptive name 😏. It was like 4 different moves all put together. The thing I like about recording my practice is that I can see my errors. Need to work on my foot position. Wondering if that has to do with my knee pain? Probably 😏.

Barely recovered from this weekend's race, and we've signed up for our last major race of the year! At least we have 2 months to pretend to train 😅. We started doing the Womp Romp 10 miler for my 60th birthday! This year, it's for my 62nd 💖. Our other outings are 5ks, the Ox Trot at Old Sturbridge Village in October, and the Hot Chocolate Run in Northampton in December. is trying to persuade me to do the Green River Marathon next August. Hmmmm......

My son calls it delayed onset soreness. I was ok yesterday, mostly, the day after our race. When I got up today, I was crazy sore. So I got on the bike. I rode for 30 minutes on level 1. I'm feeling better now, but more stretching and likely another ride are in my near future 😎. This was my 3rd run since the race, and im always amazed at how much it helps my recovery. Getting yo check in on Zoom this morning with and helped a lot, too 💜. Thank you for being there, ladies 😊.

and i participated in the Jug End Loop Ulrra 6 hr race today! We didn't cover the distance we're were hoping for, but we took some amazing pictures and adventured with Wally the Watermelon, had some major silliness, and interacted with some amazing people. From connecting with people we met at other races to the young man who told me my purple hair was "fabulous " every time he passed us, it was an awesome day! Can't wait for next year!
