I was feeling like a bit of a slacker because I haven't run in a couple of days, and today's Garmin suggestion was a 30-minute base run so I figured I'd go for it 😏
This run felt really good. I'm far too comfortable on the treadmill 😅. Spring, where the heck are you??? Either the sun is shining and it's freezing cold or it's in the 50s or better and it's pouring rain 🌧. On the treadmill is better than nothing running at all, so I'm grateful that I have it.

So this journaling thing really works! I'm taking a course called that requires I write "I am" statements and journal about how I want my life to be, everyday, as if I were already living it. Today I got up before 7am, did my workout and was showered and dressed before 9am! Oh, and today's workout was...challenging 😏. Lots of floor stuff, plank-bear-jacks 😳. I can see I have a lot of progress to make. Good thing I've got another 6 weeks 😏.

Happy St Patrick's Day 🍀☘️! It was a short visit today, I got there later than usual and he kept nodding off in his chair. I told him to be sure he gets enough sleep by Thursday so we can have a real visit 😏. I am so grateful that I get to spend all this time with him ❤️.

Can you tell how much I had the "idontwannas" this morning???? My sleep was interrupted and I didnt feel well when I woke up. I was determined to do something, though, so I chose again. I did 2 pretty intense rides this morning and they paid off 💪😎. I am so ready for this day!

This run felt pretty good. My form feels like it's getting better, too. Hopefully I'll get some solid trail time in the next couple of weeks. The longer I run I on tbe treadmill, the longer it will take me to adjust to the trails. At least the first race has built in rest stops 😏.

and I visited Dad today! After breakfast we played War! Having Amy play with us is always fun. She gets very animated and engaged. The more we play the more alert he becomes, too. At least one of my brothers will be there this weekend with family. I'll probably be back on Tuesday. I am so grateful that I get to spend all this time with him ❤️.

I may be a little panicked about this race that's only 4 weeks out 😏. Tomorrow's weather is going to be yucky, so I figured I get this done tonight. suggested we do 3-4 hours of 5k next Saturday to see what it will be like. I got this. Iban strong. I am resilient. I am a badass. I am a runner 💪😎.
