Birch pollen counts have remained relatively low this season. We are lifting "birch hold" earlier than usual. Please feel free to schedule allergy shots as usual. Thank you for your patience.

BIRCH POLLEN HAS ARRIVED! We will be holding immunotherapy (allergy shot) dosing for any vials that contain birch allergen starting Monday, May 14th. If you are already at your goal dose (maintenance) there is nothing to do differently other than come in as you normally would (every 2-6 weeks). If you are still “building up” we kindly request you schedule appointments every 10-14 days during which time we will maintain your current dose. Please remember to cancel any appointments you do not plan to attend (online through Vagaro).

Please remember “Birch Hold” is for your safety. We see an increased risk of anaphylaxis when dosing is increased during this time of year in Alaska. Remember we get some of the highest Birch Pollen counts in the world! If you have any questions, please call us at 907-745-4488

Spring is coming! Alaska gets some of the highest birch pollen counts in the world. Please follow us here for updates on allergy shot "birch hold". As soon as the pollen counts rise we will be holding birch allergy shot doses for your safety. If you are not allergic to birch pollen your injections can proceed as usual.
