I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, and Palmer College of Chiropractic. I’ve been entrusted to take care of tiny babies to pro athletes, the physically and mentally challenged to centenarians. I’ve had the honor of being a team Chiropractor of the semi-pro Rockford Icehogs ice-hockey team, and the Rockford Ravens Rugby football team, both in Illinois. After practicing in Rockford for two years, I moved to practice family chiropractic in central Virginia, and I’ve been here for twenty-one years in November. My wife & assistant is Kiera, and she is a really great person. Our office is both friendly, and warm – we love to make you feel at home. Our Story

Rick Wells, DC is the Chiropractor at Lake Chiropractic, and the 2019 Rural Virginian Chiropractor of the Year.

Lake Chiropractic is celebrating 20 Years in Practice. Dr. Barreca started Lake Chiropractic in 1999, and Dr. Wells took over in 2003. So Lake Chiropractic from its beginning in 1999 through today in 2019, has been serving the Lake Monticello, and the surrounding areas, with their Chiropractic needs.

The Fluvanna Virginia resident has been entrusted to take care of tiny babies to pro athletes, the physically and mentally challenged to centenarians.

Professionally, Dr. Wells was on the Virginia Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters Review Committee. He has volunteered as a first res-ponder member of the Lake Monticello Rescue Squad, and as a Tiger Cub Scout Leader for troop 54. In addition, Rick Wells, DC, has served on the Board of Parks and Recreation in Fluvanna County.
