Who Are We?
Holistic Outreach for Veterans (HOV) is a group of Holistic Practitioners who meet once a month to offer their services to local veterans and their spouses at no charge.
This program focuses on stress reduction and relaxation which promotes the body and spirit's natural abilities to heal and recover from trauma. Holistic modalities treat the physical and emotional effects of trauma by gently bringing the body into a state of calm and balance. Through gentle, non-invasive touch, the central nervous system relaxes into a restorative state of rest. These modalities have been shown to be helpful with musculoskeletal issues, pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression, PTSD, concentration, addiction, sleep disorders and much more. Types of modalities offered by HOV are Reiki, Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Acupressure, Zero Balancing, Meditation, Aromatherapy and Nutritional Counseling, depending upon available practitioners.
Our services are performed in a caring, compassionate, and confidential environment. We operate on a walk-in basis and services are โfirst come, first servedโ. All services are performed fully clothed and many services can be rendered without touch.
