We are proud to announce that Varian’s Embozene microspheres have received CE Mark for Genicular Artery Embolization (G*E), marking a major milestone in advancing care for knee osteoarthritis. Embozene is the first and only embolic agent to receive CE-mark for this procedure in Europe.

For the hundreds of millions of patients worldwide dealing with knee osteoarthrosis, current treatment options often only provide temporary relief but often lead to total joint replacement surgery. G*E is a minimally invasive procedure intended to reduce inflammation and help relieve pain, providing new support for patients who have exhausted other options.

In parallel, we have also completed enrollment in the landmark GENESIS II trial, a randomized, sham-controlled study that will rigorously evaluate the safety and efficacy of G*E for knee osteoarthritis.

RapidArc Dynamic* vs. conventional VMAT — the results are in.
Across five cases -- breast, lung, pancreas/liver, prostate, and head & neck -- the peer-reviewed study conducted by Varian shows:
✨ Superior dosimetry — reduced dose to OARs
⚡ Improved efficiency — streamlined optimization and planning
⏱️ Faster delivery — treatment times reduced by up to 25%

Highlights you’ll want to see:
🔹 Breast: Heart mean dose ↓ 1.98 → 1.23 Gy
🔹 Lung: Heart V5Gy ↓ 60.75% → 48.14%
🔹 Prostate: Better bladder & re**um sparing (V18Gy)
🔹 Head & Neck: Oral cavity ↓ ≥ 2 Gy
