Rhinoplasty and Otoplasty: Before & After

This patient presents to our practice with the primary goal of improving his nasal breathing. He had several smaller traumas to his nose throughout his life, leaving him with a lot of scarring and collapse that affected both his nasal function and shape.

In addition to his nasal concerns, he was always bothered by his prominent ears and was hoping to address those as well at the time of his nasal surgery.

He is now only 2 months recovered from his surgery and breathing better through his nose than he can ever remember. We’re both so happy with the early results of his healing, including the new shape of his nose and the symmetry of his ear pinning result.

Had an amazing time hosting our extremely talented colleagues and who came in all the way from Modesto to spend the day with .md and I. We discussed all things facial aging and new trends in non-surgical and surgical rejuvenation of the face and neck. We got nitty gritty on the details of what makes our extended-release deep plane facelift so special, how it’s capable of delivering fantastically natural results for our clients.

It’s always great when we get the opportunity to spend the day with passionate providers who really care about their results and their patients. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty: before and after

Under-eye aging is one of the most common problems that I see in my clinic. The under-eye area is extremely complex and delicate and there are several different components that need to be considered when evaluating for surgical correction.

Aging in this area can begin to develop as early as in someone’s 20’s, but most commonly begins to become more apparent in our 3rd and 4th decades of life. All components of the anatomy must be considered, including skin excess, muscular excess, fat loss, and the development of bags. In addition, the status of the lid tightness and cheek volume must also be evaluated, to ensure a natural and functional result.

This is a highly sensitive area and often affected by behavioral and environmental factors including the foods we eat, alcohol and seasonal allergies.

This patient presented bothered by the tired look to his eyes. He’s extremely active and super energetic, so the appearance of his eyes were in complete discord with how he felt. I performed a lower blepharoplasty to reduce the bags, along with lid tightening and skin removal to address the other components of his periorbital aging. We are both thrilled with his natural and refreshed results!

One of the best parts about my job (besides operating, of course👨🏻‍⚕️) is the relationships I develop with my patients and their families. I was so happy to see my beautiful patient yesterday, along with her loving and supportive parents. She is now 6 months recovered from her rhinoplasty with me. Our goal was to create a shape that honored some of her unique features, while also bringing down her bump, refining her tip and improving her nasal airway. It’s always a humbling experience going through this journey with patients and helping them achieve their goals.

We’re off to a great start to the new year! I was fortunate enough to see one of my favorite out-of-town patients who is now 2 and half years recovered from her rhinoplasty and chin liposuction with me.

Getting to see long term results is always important in nasal surgery since the shape continues to evolve with time. With thicker skin individuals, it is not uncommon to see subtle changes still occurring two years after surgery.

We’re both very happy with the shape of her nose. We worked hard to preserve some of her beautiful ethnic features while we made our refinements. I think her nose works harmoniously with her face and brings the focus to her other lovely features. And that jawline just seems to keep getting better with time! 😍

She’s an amazing person inside and out and I feel very fortunate that she trusted me with her face. 😊
