Our minds constantly get distracted, and we end up spending our lives being somewhere else - and never (or hardly) being engaged with what we're doing in that moment.

Every time you notice you lose your mind (!) into daydreams, old conversations, future plans, endless to‑do lists, try to come back to what you're doing, and see if you could hold your focus on that activity a little longer.

When you are not conscious, you live in survival state, according to major Ego Personalities, i.e. Vulnerable Self and Conditioned Self that are part of your subconscious programming.

People say "ego is bad", but is it? Not at all. Ego is not bad. But, it's not good either. It is just part of your survival mechanism. It's your subconscious programming designed to protect you.

But no matter how much you try to avoid pain and discomfort, life is going to rain on your parade sooner or later.

No matter how much you want to hide your insecurities, it's going to find you and expose your vulnerabilities because you have your repressed fears, unprocessed feelings stored in your subconscious.

Therefore, be aware and careful that life is not going to give you free lunch.

If you're not doing any personal work, it's going to make you awaken all of sudden.

No, the system of life doesn't work that way. It's the individual work that you need to put in that makes a difference in your life.

And how much you put in, you will take it back.

That's when Life will grant you multiple rewards for your personal work.

So many of our life patterns are driven by something we rarely see clearly: our insecurities.

They sit quietly underneath our reactions as the Vulnerable Self, which is the part of us that still carries old hurts, shame, rejection, “not good enough” stories, fear of being abandoned, unnoticed or unimportant.

We spend years trying to fix the surface:

changing jobs
changing partners
changing locations

But as long as we don’t face the Vulnerable Self, the same emotions and patterns repeat in different costumes.

The truth is: You already hold the answers within you.

Your body, your reactions, your emotional triggers are signposts to where your insecurities live. When you begin to unmask them, one by one, and start to name them, feel them, and understand where they come from, something powerful happens:

You stop taking every trigger so personally.
You see why you overreact, shut down, or please others.
You reclaim the parts of you that you had to hide to feel safe.
This is why the Journey Within is so important.

It’s not about becoming someone else.
It’s about becoming aware of what has been running you from the inside, so you can finally work with it instead of being controlled by it.

Unmasking your insecurities is not comfortable… I experienced myself, as well as witnessed in so many clients that I've worked with.

But the discomfort of facing insecurities is the necessary step that creates the doorway to living as your Real Self, with more calm, confidence, and freedom.

Self-Acceptance without a judgment takes you from this polarity of being good enough or not good enough. So you are not again back to making a new story, or turning things into positive or just trying to cope with the situation or pretending that you're getting by.

You are just going into every situation, every trigger with more neutrally. Then, you say, "I accept myself. Yes, that's me!" This is one of the purest acts of love.

Not to be confused with self-love. It's self-acceptance.

For example, when you accept your kid, that is the purest love because you can not see the kid as good or bad, you simply accept who they are.

Can you accept yourself as who you are with your fears, with your desires, with your ego attachments?

Once you do that - that's when you start to grow as everything that is holding you back in the duality starts to dissolve.

Most of us build our self‑worth on how others see us.

When someone doesn’t recognize your value, it’s easy to collapse and doubt yourself. But their inability to see you clearly is about their capacity, not your worth.

“Just because you don’t have the capacity to see me, doesn’t mean I don’t have any value.”

Where in your life have you been letting other people’s opinions define your worth?

Have you noticed how you can get pulled into the same drama cycle over and over?

First, there’s a triggering event.

Then your mind starts spinning stories, old sensitive feelings get activated…

Next, these thoughts, feelings elicit emotions in you, anger, frustration, anxiety, sadness fueling the defensive reactions:

attacking, withdrawing, shutting down, proving you’re right.

And just like that, you’re stuck in the same drama loop again. Endless arguments ensue!

How do you get out?

The way out is not to control every event in your life.

The way out is to change how you react.

When you can notice the trigger, pause for even one breath, and choose a different response, you break the automatic cycle.

That’s where real emotional mastery and personal freedom begins.

Where does your emotional suffering really come from?

In my latest podcast episode, I explain how two inner personas quietly shape your life: the Vulnerable Self, which holds your old wounds and insecurities, and the Conditioned Self, which puts on masks of strength and perfection to hide them.

These two parts constantly pull you in opposite directions and create a deep inner tug‑of‑war that often shows up as stress, anxiety, confusion and feeling stuck.

When you begin to see these personas clearly in your reactions, you can step out of their conflict and start living from a more authentic, grounded place.
