Microplastics Detected in Prostate Tumor Tissue.

Examinations of prostate cancer tumors from ten patients revealed microplastic particles in all but one sample, with cancerous tissue containing approximately 2.5 times more plastic than adjacent benign tissue. More specifically, each 7-kg (~15.42 lbs.) increase in grip strength was associated with a 12% lower death risk, while faster chair-stand times predicted a 4% reduction.
