There are different types, from mild laughing gas to deeper sedation, all carefully tailored to your child’s age, health, and needs. Our team follows strict safety guidelines and monitors your child the entire time to ensure a smooth, safe experience.

Just because baby teeth fall out doesn’t mean they’re not important, especially baby molars! These back teeth help your child chew, speak clearly, and hold space for their adult teeth. But they can also get cavities if sugar bugs stick around too long.

Signs to watch for? Tooth sensitivity, dark spots, or complaints of “ouchies” when eating. Good brushing, healthy snacks, and regular dental visits go a long way in keeping those tiny molars strong and cavity-free!

🪥 Think your child might have a cavity? Don’t wait, schedule a visit today and let’s keep those little smiles shining bright!

Did you know your tongue is like a sponge for germs? That’s right! Even if you brush your teeth super well, if you skip your tongue… stinky breath and sneaky sugar bugs might still be hiding! 😱🦠

Here’s how to brush your tongue like a pro:
1️⃣ Stick it out (make a silly face!) 😜
2️⃣ Gently brush from the back to the front with your toothbrush
3️⃣ Rinse, spit, and say “Ahhh!”—fresh as can be! 🌬️💧

Brushing your tongue only takes a few seconds, but it helps keep your mouth super clean and your breath extra fresh. Your teeth and your friends will thank you! 👏

🦷 Make it part of your brushing adventure every morning and night!

Dental X-rays help us see what’s really going on beneath the surface, like hidden cavities, incoming teeth, and jaw development. For most kids, X-rays are taken once a year, but it can vary based on age, risk for cavities, and dental history.

They’re fast, safe, and super helpful in keeping your child’s smile healthy as they grow! 💪

📸 Have questions about X-ray timing or safety? Let’s chat at your next visit, we’re here to keep parents in the loop and kids at ease!

What’s a “shark tooth”? 🦈🦷

It’s when your child’s adult tooth starts growing in before the baby tooth falls out, creating two rows of teeth, just like a shark! This usually happens in the lower front teeth around ages 5–7. It’s super common and usually nothing to worry about.

Most of the time, the baby tooth will loosen and fall out on its own. But if it sticks around too long or causes discomfort, we may recommend a gentle, easy extraction.

✨ If you notice a shark tooth popping up, give us a call, we’ll make sure everything’s growing in just right.

The 3 Stages of Baby Teeth (And What to Expect!)

1️⃣ Eruption (6–12 months):
The first tiny teeth start to poke through, usually the bottom front ones! You might notice drooling, fussiness, or a strong urge to chew everything.

2️⃣ Full Set (By age 3):
Your child now has 20 baby teeth! This is the time to build strong brushing habits, start regular dental visits, and keep sugar in check.

3️⃣ Loss & Transition (Ages 6–12):
Baby teeth start to wiggle and fall out as adult teeth move in. It’s an exciting (and sometimes funny) phase, hello, Tooth Fairy visits! 🧚‍♀️

✨ Want to keep every stage smooth and smile-ready? We’re here for checkups, cleanings, and tips along the way!
