A Special Visit from Bishop Cantú

We were blessed to welcome Bishop Cantú to St. Elizabeth Seton School! 🙏 He celebrated Mass with our Seton community and St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, and then visited each of our classrooms from PreK through 8th grade. Our Seton Saints loved sharing their favorite things about our school and asking the Bishop thoughtful questions.

Today we celebrated our annual Pet Blessing! ✨🐾 ❤️💙

Families brought their furry loved ones for a special blessing, while students who couldn’t bring pets shared the joy with their favorite stuffed animals. 💛🐶🐱🐢🧸

As a Daughters of Charity sponsored school, we joyfully celebrated the life and legacy of St. Vincent de Paul, founding father of the Daughters of Charity. 🩵 Our students learned about his mission of service and compassion, then worked on a special buddy project to honor his example. 🙏

We look forward to celebrating his feast day this Saturday, September 27th. May we continue to live out his call and serve others! As Seton Saints we are always Eager to Learn and Ready to Serve! ❤️💙

Our 1st graders (wearing their first day of fall hats! 🍂🍁) and their 5th grade buddies teamed up for a special papel picado project in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉

Working side by side, our Seton Saints explored this beautiful tradition of colorful cut paper art while learning about its cultural meaning. We love seeing our buddies grow, create, and celebrate together! ❤️💙

Last night our Seton Saints had a blast at our Book Cubby event! Students painted and decorated their very own cubbies and took home a few books to enjoy. 📚✨

A huge thank you to the Palo Alto University Rotary Club for their incredible support in building the cubbies and joining in the fun. Our students and families were absolutely thrilled! What a beautiful way to celebrate the job of readying together! ❤️💙

PBIS Reteach Day! ⭐️

Today our Seton Saints from Kinder -8th grade visited different areas around campus to review classroom procedures, expectations, and model positive behaviors.

With the support of our amazing teachers leading each station, students practiced what it means to be safe, responsible, and respectful in all areas of our school. 🌲🏫

At Seton, we are Respectful, Collaborative, and Eager to Learn and today’s reteach reminded us how we can live out those values everyday. ❤️💙

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers for preparing and modeling the PBIS framework that help us us build a safe and supportive leanening environment for everyone! 🙌

It was such a joy to welcome our parents on campus this Wednesday! Families had the chance to meet teachers, explore classrooms, and see the amazing work our Seton Saints have already accomplished in just the first few days of school. ❤️💙

✨Yesterday our Seton Saints gathered for our first school Mass of the year! ✨

Our Student Council members beautifully led the Mass, celebrated by Fr. Stasys. He invited our students to share what they did this summer and so many of them were eager to share their respnonses! ☀️😎

We also received a special blessing for our new Seton Saints and teachers, and our Student Coucnil member were blessed as they received their pins. ❤️💙

It was a beautiful way to come together as a faith family to celebrate the start of another school year. 🙏

Today we had our very first school assembly of the year, led by our amazing Student Council and our Vice Principal, Ms.Lopez! ❤️💙 We were excited to introduce our new principal, Dr. Rainford, and give a warm Seton welcome to our new students and teachers- Ms. Fairbanks, Ms. Enders, and Ms. Gonzalez. 🥳 What a wonderful way to wrap up our first full week of school! 🙌📚
