Our new Memorial Tree stands as a celebration of lives that we have been privileged to know and work alongside of. While they are longer with us, their stories continue to inform the compassion that we bring to our work each day.

Thank you to the El Camino Hospital Social Work team for meeting with us to strengthen how we support patients together. Through New Directions, funded by El Camino Healthcare District, we’re able to help patients with deeper, ongoing support beyond the hospital.

PHC honors Black History Month, a celebration of Black excellence and a reminder that equity work is more important than ever. In Santa Clara County, Black/African American residents are 2% of the population but 12% of people experiencing homelessness. PHC exists to help close gaps like these.

*Tommie Smith and John Carlos, former San Jose State University students whose courageous 1968 Olympic protest for human rights remains a defining moment in the fight for racial justice.
