Happy World Laughter Day! 😊

Laughter is more than just fun—it’s a powerful way to reduce stress, boost your mood, and help your body and mind reset. Even a small moment of laughter can make a big difference in your day.

Today, we invite you to find a reason to smile:
• Share a joke with someone you love
• Watch something that makes you laugh
• Remember a happy, funny memory

Taking care of your mental health can include moments of lightness, too.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Roots of Resilience, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health—and everyone deserves support, understanding, and a space to grow.

This month (and every month), we encourage you to:
• Check in with yourself
• Reach out for support when you need it
• Practice small moments of self-care
• Remind yourself—you don’t have to do it all alone

Whether you’re beginning your journey or continuing the work, we’re here for you every step of the way.

Be kind to your mind 💭💛☺️

Your thoughts matter—and so does how you talk to yourself. Try this today: notice one negative thought and gently reframe it into something more compassionate.

Instead of “I’m not good enough” → “I’m doing the best I can, and that’s enough.”

Small shifts in self-talk can make a big difference.

Did you know your brain has its own “happy chemicals”? 💛

✨ Dopamine – reward & motivation
✨ Serotonin – mood & well-being
✨ Oxytocin – connection & trust
✨ Endorphins – pain relief & joy

Small daily habits can boost them—like moving your body, connecting with someone you trust, laughing, or getting outside.

Take care of your mind, one small moment at a time. 💗
