Illinois College of Nursing Throughout the PN program at ICON, each student will receive the knowledge and skills needed to successfully work in a healthcare setting as a practical nurse.

14 Month Practical Nursing Program
Hybrid accelerated plan with day or evening cohorts: Theory is online twice a week and Lab/Clinical is once per week in-person The Illinois College of Nursing (ICON) is a private institution dedicated to promoting health care excellence by offering accessible and quality nurse training programs. The Practical Nursing (PN) program offered at ICON takes approximately one year to complete and is the fastest and most effective way for you to begin your nursing career. This program incorporates comprehensive nursing theory and hands-on clinical externships to give each student an invaluable educational experience. Upon completion of the PN program students will receive a graduation certificate and are eligible to take the State of Illinois practical nursing exam (NCLEX-PN) to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
