Your tongue, period, & p**p tell me everything I need to know about your fertility.

It’s not magic.

A medical system that’s been practicing for 3,000 years just gets really efficient.

Stop chasing hormone markers and lab findings that don’t change your underlying pattern of imbalance anyway.

Low thyroid? Low progesterone? Estrogen dominance? Autoimmune marker?

We would have known that already, from the signs your body is giving.

A lab test won’t tell us anything we didn’t know, because those findings are just additional signs of the deeper imbalance type that we’re already working to resolve.

If you love getting blood tests run all the time, go ahead.

But most women in my fertility practice tell me they’re stressful, expensive, and aren’t really helping to improve fertility.

There is a better way…and it has nothing to do with buying new gadgets, influencer hacks, OR getting more testing done with another doctor.

Personal secret:   I don’t always wear 100% natural fiber fabrics. 😬

But because the studies have consistently shown (since the 1990’s!) polyester effectively makes its wearer infertile, I do TRY to live by an 80-20 rule on clothing…  Most items I purchase now have to be at least 80% wool, cotton, linen, silk, or other naturally occurring material.   Why not 100%? 🧐

Well, it’s hard to find certain items like bras and especially SOCKS without some elastane or nylon for shape, and it’s often more expensive up front to invest in these lasts-forever, high-quality items.   Here’s an average day:  ✔️ Hoodie- 100% merino / khullu yak wool

✔️ Bralette & Underwear- 81% merino wool   ✔️ Jeans- 80% cotton / recycled cotton

✔️ Socks- 50% merino wool

I do NOT recommend freaking out about not being at 100%, because stressing about perfection is not only a thief of joy but also a havoc wreaker of hormones.  And reducing my exposure to carcinogenic and endocrine disrupting fabrics by about 80% every day feels pretty damn good.

Last week I had the honor of volunteering at .caribe , an inspired non-for-profit organization serving the carribean communities in Costa Rica.

In this integrative natural medicine clinic, I offered care rooted in Traditional East Asian Medicine—a 3,000 year old healing system I draw from every day in my fertility coaching practice.
