The “X” is that place you do not want to be during a violent encounter. For Special Operations, Security Contractors and Law Enforcement, their “X” is the place which the enemy has determined would be the best location for a planned attack. When encountered with
a violent situation, it is necessary to get out of the line of fire or “OFF THE X” as soon as possible, employing various movement techniques. Off The X, LLC believes the warrior mindset and concept of getting “OFF THE X” can and should be applied to everyday civilian life. In our lives, we deal with things that can be determined as our “X”. These are things that make us feel as if the “enemy” is attacking us. We may be attacked spiritually, mentally or physically. So what is your “X”? Where in your life has the enemy set up its ambush? Is it the boss or co-worker that makes your life miserable? Is it the job itself? Is it your daily commute? Is it your “ex” boyfriend or girlfriend, your “ex” husband or wife? Is it high school or college? Is it your struggle with weight loss? You have to identify the “X” in your life, and you have to take the time to get “OFF THE X.” It will help you focus on those things that are more important in your life. You can’t survive on the “X,” so stay “OFF THE X!!!”
