Lie: You’re fine.
You go to the gym 3-4x week. It’s not that big of a deal. Lots of others are just like you or worse. It’s ok.

Truth: You’re Not Fine
Just because you go to the gym 3-4x week doesn’t mean you’re healthy. How much cardio do you do? It also doesn’t erase all the garbage you eat every day. It’s not ok.

If your waist is over 40 inches (at your belly button), you’re not just a little soft— you’re walking on a mine field. Men with a gut ≥40 inches (national average BTW) have a ~50% higher risk of death.

Until that number starts with a 3, you’ve got a lot of work to do.

And be honest, you hate it too..

People love to tell me all about what they’re going to do and make promises to themselves. Then when they don’t follow through they avoid me.
Not because I’m the progress police, but because they’re avoiding themselves. I’m just a reminder of their lack of strength. A mirror they can’t stand to look in to. That’s not my issue, it’s theirs. I’m not going to dull my reflection so they don’t see theirs.
