During this Summer follow our very own WAVES to enjoy the end of school year while staying safe:
🌊Wear sunscreen and protective gear
🌊Avoid prolonged heat exposure and check your vehicle back seat every time
🌊Vigilantly supervise children around bodies of water
🌊Enjoy outdoor activities but remember to take breaks in the shade
🌊Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water, more so in really hot days.

I just wanted to introduce myself to the moms that don't know me yet. I am Dr. Ali Rodriguez (aka Dr. Ali) a general pediatrician in town that recently opened a family-owned clinic that offers a one-to-one relationship with your family.

Now that Spring Break is approaching, we just want to remind you of a few water safety tips to keep your children safe:
☀️Watch kids when they are in or around water. Young children can drown in as little as one inch of water.
☀️During family gatherings choose a supervising adult who would be watching the water at all times.
☀️Empty tubs, buckets, containers and kids’ pools immediately after use.
☀️Install fences around home pools.
☀️Learn CPR and basic water rescue skills. Most locals hospitals offer a course for free. If you need help finding this don’t hesitate to reach out. We would love to help. At On-call Mama Doc we wish you a fun, exciting and safe spring break.
