Thank you all for the understanding, prayers, flexibility and support during this difficult time. My Grandma passed away peacefully on Friday 🥹. I have my moments where I cried selfishly wishing she was still here🥹. I don’t have one guilty tear of “Should Have”! It’s all selfish tears of wanting her here. But, I have peace in knowing she’s in peace and at peace.
I spent a lot of time with my Grandma. I have so many memories with her that I will cherish forever 🩷.
I invited her and my grandfather to spend Thanksgiving 2024 with us, and my sister and I covered all expenses. She traveled 383 miles to spend Thanksgiving Day with my family. I can only imagine how challenging it must have been for an 81-year-old to travel that far, but she did it for me 🥹🥺 During her visit to Florida, she woke up to the beach for four consecutive days.
I cannot help but smile when thinking about my grandmother, as she embodied the perfect example of a woman, wife, mother, Godly woman, and grandmother. I will forever cherish our conversation, our laughters, memories and relationship 😇
