From all of us at Emerald Coast Hospice, we welcome the sunshine, longer days, and the joy this season brings.

As summer begins, we’re reminded of the warmth, light, and comfort we strive to bring to every patient and family we serve every season of the year. Here’s to brighter days, peaceful moments, and continued care with heart. As we celebrate the warmth of summer, let’s also take a moment to care for ourselves and one another with a few important reminders:

🌡️ Stay Cool – High temperatures can be tough, especially for our patients. Make sure to stay in cool, shaded areas when possible.
💧 Stay Hydrated – Keep water nearby and encourage regular sips throughout the day. Hydration is key!
🧴 Sun Safety – If spending time outdoors, don’t forget sunscreen, hats, and protective clothing.
⚠️ Watch for Heat Stress – Be mindful of symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, or confusion, and check in with each other often.
