We must understand that grief is not linear. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Sit with those tough and uncomfortable feelings. Be sure to take away from the grief as well.

I first developed a passion for working with people through their grief at FSU in school under the tutelage of Denise Montford. After studying the Master of Social Work curriculum I did my internship at Angel House Bereavement Center and accepting a position working with them. I remain a contract therapist still at Angel House Bereavement Center. There is no better place in the state of Florida for grief counseling. I have held a Certification as a trauma professional for the past 5 years. I have had the distinct honor to work with combat military members and veterans, first responders, survivors of traumatic events. Many folks who have endured trauma in their life.
