July is Purposeful Parenting Month — a time to celebrate the small, intentional moments that strengthen bonds and boost early development.

At Parents as Teachers, we believe every child deserves a strong start, and that it begins with connection.

Every baby deserves a safe place to sleep — every time.

Following the ABCs of Safe Sleep is one of the easiest and most effective ways to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related dangers:

🔤 A – Alone:
Your baby should always sleep alone in their crib — no pillows, blankets, toys, or bumpers.

🔤 B – Back:
Place your baby on their back for every nap and nighttime sleep — never on their side or stomach.

🔤 C – Crib:
Use a firm mattress in a safety-approved crib, bassinet, or play yard. No couches, adult beds, or car seats for sleep.
