Last evening we took some down time to gather and enjoy some laughter, tell some stories, share some memories, and eat a meal together at our end of year party. There was super cool bird feeder that was highly sought after in the raffle portion and many other items!

We look forward to another year serving Bay County.

Training day today brought our team from Lifeguard Ambulance Service of Santa Rosa County, Florida to partner with our Bay County team to cover ins and out of managing ventilator patients.

GMR Life Therapy Dog Langley has been enjoying her time in our Bay County operation. So many new best friends to see and that big water park right down the street is a huge job perk!

There is something so rewarding about attending a Paramedic graduation. Over the last year, we have witnessed the dedication this young provider has shown in pursuing the next step in his career and expand his ability to care for his patients. Paramedic school requires over 500 clinical hours to get hands on experience providing life saving measures. On top of that, there are long days at school, longer nights of studying, and still finding time to balance home life and work. Today made it all worth it. Christian now joins the ranks of so many before him. Please take a moment to congratulate him as we welcome him into paramedic club!

He's not done yet though! He still needs to go through additional clearance with our medical director and do some additional ride alongs. Rumor has it, he will be riding with Captain Eubanks. We aren't sure who to wish good luck in that scenario!

If you aren't having fun, you're doing it wrong! It's another busy day in Bay County. So busy that a couple of our crews showed up at the same elevator at the same time. In the spirit of good time management and team building, we decided to all take the same elevator. Its always great to see our EMS professionals with a smile on their faces.

EMS Week 2025 is coming to a close. It is impossible to express the gratitude we have for all of the EMS professionals here at Lifeguard Ambulance, Bay County EMS, and all across the nation for the dedication they show for their communities. Countless lives are touched every day. Paramedics and EMTs work long hours away from their loved ones, providing care to complete strangers. They dont hear the words "Thank you" nearly enough. Please join us in sending a resounding THANK YOU to them today and know that if you ever need them, they will be there at a moments notice.

We wrapped up our Wacky Waffle Wednesday with full bellies and smiles across the board. Today was a little bit extra special because we also got to celebrate a birthday at work. So often our EMS professionals spend holidays, birthdays, and other special dates away from the family while they care for the community. It's always awesome to see them still come together and celebrate! Happy Birthday, Brandon!

It's TACO TUESDAY!!! EMS Week activities continue with a full spread of street tacos made to order. Our leadership team is having an absolute blast taking time out to SERVE our EMS professionals that serve their community every day. If you see a first responders out and about this week, take a moment to thank them for all they do. They never expect to hear it, but we promise, it will make their entire day.
