Splish splash, baby’s first bath! 🛁
Newborn skin is delicate, so a little care goes a long way. Here are some quick bath time tips:
✨ 1. Wait for the cord stump to fall off before the first full bath — stick to sponge baths until then.
🧴 2. Use lukewarm water — it should feel warm to your inner wrist, not hot.
🫧 3. Choose a gentle, fragrance-free baby soap and use only a small amount.
👶 4. Keep one hand on baby at all times — safety first!
🧼 5. Focus on the folds (neck, behind ears, and diaper area) — rinse and pat dry gently.
🪶 6. Moisturize right after bath time to lock in hydration and prevent dryness.
Newborns only need a bath 2–3 times per week — more can dry out their skin.
A gentle wipe-down between baths works just fine.
