Dr. Dave Phillips has been practicing Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine for 24 years and has been actively involved in clinical drug studies for more than 30 years, participating in over 75 studies focused on asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, and ICU care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys boating and fishing with his family. As a member of the Emerald Coast Medical Association, Dr. Phillips values the opportunity to connect with fellow medical professionals in the area.

Several local doctors have been targeted by callers posing as law enforcement, DEA, or CMS officials—claiming legal trouble and demanding payment or sensitive info.

⚠️ Remember:

-Hang up & verify — legit agencies don’t demand money or threaten arrest by phone.
-Alert your staff & colleagues.
-Use official websites for contact info.

If you get a suspicious call, report it to ECMA. We’re here to help protect our physicians. 💪
