We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Coding Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate coding of medical records, facilitating efficient billing processes, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and the ability to work collaboratively within a medical office environment.

Responsibilities
• Accurately code patient diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 and HCPCS coding systems.
• Review and analyze medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in patient records.
• Process medical billing claims in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
• Assist in the management of medical collections by ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding claims.
• Provide support in training staff on proper coding practices and medical terminology.

Experience
• Proven experience in medical coding within a family practice setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, billing systems, and electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of medical collections processes and compliance regulations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

We are excited to introduce Nicole Martin as a new provider at Pandora Family Physicians!

Nicole is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience treating patients of all ages. She conducts physical exams, diagnoses medical conditions, prescribes treatments, provides education, and orders tests. Passionate about preventative medicine and wellness, she also has expertise in acute care. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University. Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she has six years of nursing from Blanchard Valley Hospital ER and began her Nurse Practitioner career at Physicians Plus Urgent Care. She resides in Columbus Grove with her husband, Chris, and two sons, Benjamin and Matthew, and is excited to serve you all and her community. Welcome, Nicole!
